Lovely stay, but I cannot get on with the dog-friendly approach.

Lovely room. Excellent breakfast - Spoiled only by barking dogs ! A really lovely hotel.

Dogs in eating areas are a BIG NO NO. Dirty - Unhygienic - Noisy - Agressive.

We loved everything, the location, the views, the room , it was our first time here, definitely not our last now, a really wonderful relaxing hotel.

« Hôtel grandiose, personnel terne. »

Un hôtel unique par son style architectural. Dans les parties communes, tous les détails de style Art Nouveau ont été conservés (fresques, mosaïques, planchers, huisseries) Le grand escalier central en colimaçon est grandiose ! Nous avions une chambre avec balcon et vue sur la mer et étions gratifiés d'une vue panoramique sur la plage et d'une lumière "Turner-esque" malgré le temps pluvieux de ce début de Janvier, L'aménagement de la chambre est moderne et bien en phase avec le style du bâtiment. Le mobilier modulaire est ingénieux et rechauffe l'ambiance par son bois exotique rappelant un pont de bateau. La carte du restaurant n'est pas très longue, la carte des vins est fournie en vins exotiques comme souvent hors de France. Les plats servis sont simples mais raffinés et délicieux.

Le personnel n'est pas très professionel. Distant et peu souriant, il ne fait pas d'effort de langage et il est difficile de se faire comprendre. On ressent certain désabusement et un manque de respect général envers la clientèle. Les tables ne sont pas nettoyées. Au diner, on nous a présenté une carte maculée de boissons et de restes de nourriture, sans que cela ne choque la serveuse. Le bar n'est pas tenu, tout traine çà et là ... Le quartier environnant a connu de meilleures heures ... Il reste quelques beaux bâtiments mais pas en très bon état. La plupart des habitations et commerces sont en mauvais état. La population ne respire hélas ni la richesse ni le bonheur ...

Mostly positive, lovely hotel, we will go again, beautiful view of morecambe bay from the bedroom.

Location, breakfast, best eggs Benedict ever.

Dinner menu… pub grub and not very tasty. Shower needed a better clean.

Excellent location and facilities - real value for money

Location and facilities. Friendly staff and good food. The room was comfortable and quiet. Great to be able to walk out onto the promenade and be close to the town. Good sized spaces in the car park.

Nothing really. The weather wasn’t great but that’s nothing to do with the hotel!!!

Very good.

Well-appointed room, handy parking, excellent view from the dining room.

Food very good but did not like having to go to the bar each time to order the food - would much prefer someone to come to the table.

Not a bad hotel

Lovely art deco hotel with good parking and wifi. The food was nice and the service was good. The rooms are spacous and comfortable.

No real ale since new management and upkeep of property seems neglected but still nice for a 3 star hotel. Pricey but still a canny hotel

It was absolutely perfect. Beautiful setting amazing sea view from our window. Nothing was too much. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was too die for.

I can't say that there was anything. But if I had to say something, the room was a little too warm during the night.

Was a surprise for my husbands birthday and he enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast. The room facilities were excellent.
